Sports

A young mind attains a better concentration level, better spirit of competition and certainly boost level of confidence by involving in sports. We have started a Shooting Range in our school along with indoor & outdoor games like Chess, Badminton, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and others Tracks & Field Sports activities.

Library

The School library is well stocked on various subjects including a special reference section. Fresh titles are added to, on a regular basis. The library subscribes to a wide range of popular magazines, journals and dailies. Students are advised to make the best use of the library and develop habit of reading.

Computer Lab

The school has a computer lab with latest PC’s under Local Area Network. It gives an opportunity to our students to know about the whole world through internet. The school expects every student to be computer literate and develop required skill of computers.

Science Lab

To give practical experience to the subjective knowledge, we have well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Medical Facility

The school has a medical infirmary which attends the students for minor injury/sickness. It organizes school health programmes including regular health & dental check-up, conducts seminars and awareness programmes on Health and hygiene.

House System

Students are grouped under four Houses namely Gandhi, Nehru, Tagore and Subhash. Every student is allotted a house at the time of admission. The school organizes various activities and events at inter-house level for creating healthy competition and inculcate leadership qualities in the students. Students are advised to participate in these activities.

Tours & Field Trip

Field trips and educational tours are organized as part of school activities to know advancement in science technology & industry. Students are expected to take part in these tours and field trips voluntarily. These form an integral part of learning. Children of lower-primary and primary classes are taken for picnics.

Celebration / Festival

The school celebrates various special days and festivals. This helps the students to understand our composite culture and inculcate the concept of unity in diversity. These celebrations are organized in different forms such as special assembly, cultural programmes and sports etc.

Home Work

In order to have effective and useful re-capitulation, the school expects the students to read/write at home what is being done in the class everyday. Home work is basically meant to be done by the students on their own without anybody’s help. Students should, therefore complete the work as per the home work time table for which they should set aside time in their daily routine.
